Shipping & Receiving - Forklift - Warehouse - Tidewater Direct LLC (Centreville, MD)

Tidewater Direct LLC, a web offset printing company in Centreville, Md. is looking for a full time warehouse shipping and receiving associate.

The full time position is for the day shift. .

Job requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

Using computers to receive in raw materials and finished product into the inventory system, ship product, and manage inventory. Prior good working knowledge and computer literacy is a must. Must have experience in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel or spreadsheet knowledge. Outlook email experience. Must have the ability to quickly learn our internal software system.

Driving a forklift and clamp truck to unload incoming material and load outgoing product

Using a pneumatic strapping tool and stretch wrapper to wrap skids of product

Arrange freight by negotiating with mutliple shipping providers

Inventory Experience

Flexibility in working outside scheduled hours and department

Ideal candidate should possess:

Drivers license and reliable transportation

Ability to operate a forklift, clamp truck, and other material handling equipment

Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly

A strong work ethic

Prior shipping and receiving experience

Forklift certification is desired but not required

Good verbal and written communication skills
