Job Description

The Accounting Manager Opportunity :

Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position

Setting is based in an healthcare system with a short-term acute care hospital / affiliated clinic setting

Managerial position that supervises the daily operations of the Accounting, AP, and Payroll departments as well as 3 staff members

Responsible for managing monthly financial close processes including account analysis for all revenues, expenses, and balance sheet accounts

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the staffing, training, and on-boarding of Accounting, AP, and Payroll staff

Must have strong interpersonal and team-work skills and able to work with a variety of individuals from direct and lateral departments

Requirements

Accounting Manager Qualifications :

Must have at minimum, Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from an accredited program.

Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Accounting Manager / Supervisor

Must be proficient with Kronos and Multi-view or any similar accounting program

Must have strong people skills

Must be computer literate

Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous
