This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve at one of America's leading health care companies and a Fortune Top 50 Company.The Manager Senior Financial Operations Department is responsible for data analysis and reporting needed to appropriately invoice ASO customers for Payment Integrity services and for enhancing systems, tools, and processes to deliver increased efficiency, flexibility, and accuracy. The Manager Senior will offer broad IT and data analysis expertise to business leadership, lead a team of data analysts, partner with on and off shore IT, and be responsive to Internal Audit. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Assist in the development and implementation of vision, strategies, and tactics to maximize the departments effectiveness while minimizing costsReview statistical data of various systems in order to verify accuracy and timely processingEnsure internal controls are appropriate and develops policies and procedures and ensures compliance with government regulations and customer contractsProvide counsel to senior managementWork with other areas for solutions to complex problemsParticipate in critical interactions with both internal and external customersHire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reportsQualifications Seven or more years’ experience with Health Insurance / Payer operations, Payment Integrity, reporting, audit guidelines, and process improvement requiredExperience with complex business environments including multiple entity and highly automated situations requiredFive or more years’ management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background, requiredExpertise developing and translating business requirements to IT requiredExpertise developing / leading the development of ad hoc and routine reporting requiredKnowledge of / experience with Hadoop preferredAnthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America’s Most Admired
