This Sales Assistant position from OfficeTeam will be a long-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity based in the Agoura Hills, California area.Your responsibilities in this role

Handling preparations for and attending trade shows and conventions

Supporting the sales department by promoting company products and services

Providing customer service in a kind and professional manner

Providing all other Sales Assistant-related duties as needed

Composing correspondence and prooing materials

Making arrangements related to travel and meetings

Providing order coordination support to ensure the processes are completed

Generating sales reports and preparing presentations

Providing administrative, technical and clerical support to sales teams

Coordinating courses and training internal employees

Requirements

Proficiency in data entry

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Proven knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

Foundational knowledge in Computer Data Entry

Solid understanding of account management

Experience with switchboard phones from 1-10 lines

Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Employer prefers a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field for this position

2+ years of Sales Assistant experience preferred

Prior experience coordinating projects, utilizing strong social skills, and working well with all levels of personnel and outside clients and vendors
