A healthier work environment during COVID-19

If you have been working at the hospital, in an assisted living center or in a long-term care facility during COVID-19, please know that caring for seniors in an at-home care setting is a completely different experience!

If you choose Take My Hand At-Home Care as your employer, you’ll work without the endless pressure of call lights. You’ll work in a home setting where you are only responsible for the care and well-being of one or two people, not a dozen or more. You will be able to give elderly clients the time and attention they deserve providing care and companionship at their pace and according to their personal wishes.

Sounds healthier for caregivers and elders, right?

The benefits of working in at-home care during the pandemic are many!

If hired by Take My Hand At-Home Care, you can expect to:

minimize your risk of COVID-19 exposure by reducing the number of residents and co-workers that you interact with each day;

help elders safely interact in person with people they love, including children and grandchildren, friends and neighbors. (Yes, hugs are allowed!);

work in a relaxed one-on-one setting where cares are easily provided as needed;

follow a natural schedule where personal care, meals, activities and rest times occur when your client is ready.

Being part of the nonmedical home care industry cannot be compared to any other work experience. We do not sell a product; we give of ourselves and provide a service. That is our mission and purpose.

From a TMH family member: “Thank you for enabling us to keep my folks in their home environment – against all odds, I might add. The caregivers you’ve hired have all been tender and trustworthy, skilled and patient. Obviously, you take great care in selecting and training your caregivers.”

As a caregiver at TMH, you will help to manage the well-being of individuals in our community with flexibility, perseverance and compassion.
