The Ideal Candidate:

Looking for that Desktop/Network Support Technician who shares a strong passion for seeing clients successfully use technology. The candidate has world class customer service skills is a great communicator with outstanding written and verbal English language skills. You enjoy building solid relationships with all levels in our clients’ companies from admin staff to owners. You are excited by providing vital support for local and remote users such as software installations and removal; hardware upgrades and initial computer set-up and troubleshooting. You will frequently be working at the client’s locations so access to reliable transportation is needed. Ideally you have Microsoft, Apple, Linux, Cisco, Security or other industry certifications. You thrive working in a great team environment and will report to the Senior Engineer.

You pass a background check, provide proof of a valid CA driver’s license and insurance, as well as present evidence of the legal right to live and work in the United States. You will be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

This is an non-exempt position, rate of pay is dependent upon background and experience.

Requisite Technology Skills and Experience:

Ability to troubleshoot operating systems and applications

Experience with:

o Windows 7, Windows 10

o Office 365

o Google Apps

o MS Exchange and Terminal Servers

o MS Windows OS Network

o Networking switches, routers, firewalls, TCPIP subnets, NAT, IP routing.

o Messaging and calendaring systems and protocols

o iPhone, Android, smart phone setup and configuration

Hardware repair

Familiarity with antivirus solutions:

o Kaspersky

o NOD32

o TrendMicro

o SentinelOne, Sophos InterceptX

Preferred Technology Skills and Experience:

Mac OSX

Virtualization such as Vmware, HyperV

Firewalls such as Sonicwall, Sophos, Fortinet, Cisco Pix

Storagecraft, Acronis or Ghsot imaging systems

Cabling for voice and data

Phone Systems, VOIP
