The Skunk Train is Hiring!

We have a position open at the Skunk Train in Fort Bragg for General Building and Grounds Maintenance.

$13 to $17 per hour, DOE.

Seasonal, Part-time, and Full-time.

The Skunk Train is a fast paced and frequently changing environment.

Must be able to pass a drug test (meeting federal transportation standards, so no medical marijuana) and physical.

The world-famous Skunk Train is a standard gage passenger railroad that was founded in 1885, and operates 40 miles between Fort Bragg and Willits, in Mendocino County, California.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General janitorial duties at the depot, depot grounds, and on

board the trains including washing of railcars and locomotives.

Minor maintenance and repairs at the depot, on depot

grounds and on board the trains.

Proper use of janitorial and related supplies.

Proper use of small powered hand tools.

Fuel and clean railroad vehicles.

Assist with special events as needed.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Neat and highly organized with attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to lift 50 + Lbs.
