The world-famous Skunk Train is a hiring for conductors in both Fort Bragg & Willits locations!

Duties include but are not limited to interacting with guests, collecting and selling tickets & providing a safe & entertaining experience for all.

Will require 80 hours of paid training

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Ability to receive and follow orders.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Troubleshooting skills in fast-paced environment.

Must be at least 18 years of age and have earned a high school diploma or GED.

Must be able to clearly and effectively read, write and communicate (speak, hear and understand) English, in person and using electronic devices.

Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license or be able to obtain one within 60 days of employment.

Must not have had a DUI/DWI conviction within the previous ten years. 49 CFR Part 240.111

Must have the ability to see and interpret hand signals from near and far; distinguish among red, blue, green, yellow and white colors; visually judge the speed and distance of moving objects; see at night; hear, and, with training, distinguish auditory signals. Hearing & Vision tests per 49 CFR part 240.121

and 242.117.

Must be able to work in extreme all-weather conditions and safety sensitive work environment.

Pre-employment drug screen, physical, vision and hearing test per 49 CFR part 240.121 and 242.117, and

background check required prior to hiring.
