Worship Director (Hillside Church, Redding CA)

Hillside Church, a well established Church of the Assemblies of God, is currently looking to fill the position of worship Director.

Principal Function

This person is responsible for planning and implementing a worship experience for Sunday Services, Worship Team building, and possibly special events. Hillside has top quality sound, media, streaming and recording equipment, as well as a beautiful worship center.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Plan and coordinate worship services. In conjunction with the Lead Pastor and possibly other ministerial staff, coordinate Sunday morning Worship for both services. Make sure all Pro Presenter slides coincide with the worship.

2. Develop and Train Worship Teams. Develop a plan for a comprehensive church music ministry, in consultation with the Worship Team and Lead Pastor, that addresses all appropriate age and interest groups within the church.

All ministry plans should include goals, projected participation and resources needed.

General Ministerial Responsibilities and Requirements

As a ministerial team member of Hillside, participate in Team meetings and regular worship team practices, connect relationally to the body, participate in spiritual growth within the body by connecting with, or leading, a group of peers, and attend monthly staff meetings. We prefer you to be associated with or have a history with the Assemblies of God and able to transition Traditional and Contemporary styles of worship.

This is a part time paid position. The incumbent should have an education in this area of ministry and/or experience. Please provide personal information and a resume to the following email.
