Your role as a Ground Operations Associate

In summary, you will oversee the success of Veho’s ground operation from picking up freight from our clients around Chicago to sorting the packages to overseeing successful driver launches.

Pays $18.00 per hour with guaranteed 25+ hours per week.

Responsibilities:

-Perform on-time daily pickups from local distribution centers.

-Pre-sorting packages into routes and meeting delivery drivers.

-Oversee distribution and launch of delivery drivers.

-Communicate with the dispatch team to maintain accountability of packages, and solve challenges as they occur.

-Problem solve and be a part of a growing startup.

Who you are:

-Have prior professional experience in a warehouse, delivery driver, or some other related role.

-Be comfortable using provided technology on a daily basis.

-Drive a 26 ft box truck. No CDL needed!

-Maintain a professional image and speech to interact with clients.

-Have a valid driver's license w/ a clean motor vehicle record.

-Able to pass a comprehensive background check.

-Own a modern smartphone.

-Physically able to move up and down, including bending and lifting frequently (up to 50 lbs required)
