Skyworks' Design Engineering team in Newbury Park, CA (Thousand Oaks area) is seeking an Analog Integrated Circuit Design Co-Op to join our Spring 2021 Co-Op Program (January through June)

Job Summary

The Intern will be responsible for the development of CMOS analog integrated circuit designs for mobile handset applications.

He / She will work within a group of analog / RF IC design experts and be assigned to a multi-chip module product team. The Intern will interface with design management and module design teams to create the detailed specification, report design progress, and to collect, track, and resolve any performance and circuit design issues.

Job Requirements

Currently enrolled in a MS / PhD program, studying Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution- Must be returning to school after this Co-Op assignment - Able to commit to the Spring 2021 Co-Op.

Program which runs from January 2021 to June 2021. Solid background in basic device physics and analog IC design fundamentals- Candidate must have taken at least one RF or Microwave course- Ability to develop and use advanced linear and nonlinear models or simulation techniques and be able to translate between the model, simulation, physical implementation, and the measured performance of a device- Familiar with Cadence software- Hands-on experience with lab measurements and characterization equipment- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
