Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. You will be working with cloud-native technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker to build highly scalable demonstration and proof-of-concept solutions. Technical manager – lead a team of cloud engineers designing customer solutions

Technical seller - Drive sales pipeline, progression, and OCI platform consumption

Business & technology fluency – Maintain mastery of the Oracle portfolio and intimate knowledge of industry trends, multidiscipline design patterns, development/deployment methodologies, and competitive cloud offerings

Management consultant – Assist architects to develop and present business cases, revenue models, industry trends, competitive differentiators, and go-to-market strategy

Agile – Thrive in ambiguity, maintaining a relentless sense of urgency and realistic view of time (urgent patience) throughout an extended sales cycles

Leadership presence – Inspire confidence and quickly establish connection, credibility, trust, and influence with customer CEO to developer

Creative transformation catalyst - Exercise creativity, independent judgment, and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and elegant business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs

Qualifications

5 years of software development experience with strong java/jee/spring development frameworks.

1 years of team technical leadership experience as solution lead, development lead, or management

Demonstrated implementation of microservices, container and cloud-native application development.

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Openshift and related container platform ecosystems.

Strong understanding and experience of release engineering and continuous delivery process.

Strong understanding of static code analysis, unit testing and test driven development, security testing and automated test frameworks. Experience using Jenkins, GIT, Maven, Gradle.

Strong understanding of principles of DevOps and Continuous Delivery.

Experience with two or more application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, Weblogic or Websphere

Strong Agile experience working in Scrum and/or Kanban models.

Solid understanding of different cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS cloud; cloud certification is a plus.

Experience with two or more database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL or Postgres, MongoDB.

Experience working in a DevOps-focused environment previously with advanced understanding of DevOps principles as a big plus.

Proven track record of delivering high quality and consistent systems and environments for development teams.

Ability to multi-task; working on multiple project teams and wearing multiple hats is very common at Oracle.

Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
