Palantir Path is an internship program for students looking to accelerate their personal and technical growth in preparation for a successful, impactful career in tech.

We launched Palantir Path in 2017 to reach students who may not have had exposure to technical opportunities before college or who are earlier in their engineering journey, especially those from underrepresented communities.

Path aims to help students bridge the gap between what is taught in school and what’s necessary to solve real-world problems.

But Path isn’t your standard developmental internship. As a Path intern, you won’t sit in a classroom with other interns all day or write code that doesn’t live beyond the summer.

Instead, you’ll work alongside full-time engineers and analysts, interacting with clients and making decisions that have lasting impact on our business and our customers’ missions.

You’ll leave your internship with real-world experience under your belt, as well as a deeper understanding of your own technical capabilities and interests.

As a Palantir Path intern, you’ll be invested in from day one. You will embark on your Palantir journey with a cohort of interns from across the company as you go through a week-long onboarding program that will provide you with the resources you’ll need to navigate the Palantir ecosystem.

You will also be paired with a mentor dedicated to your growth and success. Your mentor will support you throughout your internship by providing navigational guidance as well as actionable feedback aimed at fostering both personal and technical development.

You’ll work collaboratively with your teammates on challenging, motivating problems, leveraging your strengths, and broadening your understanding of the possibilities of engineering.

You’ll also find that our internal community is full of people who are excited to meet you, build community with you, and further your development and self-discovery outside of your project work.

You’ll have a breadth of opportunity to connect with individual Palantirians, join internal affinity groups, and further explore your passions and interests throughout the course of your internship.

At the end of summer, you’ll be ready to make the most of your remaining undergraduate studies and tackle future engineering challenges in your professional career with confidence.

Palantir Path 2021 is open to members of the Class of 2022 who are pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or who are on track to transfer to one.

We especially encourage students from communities that are historically underrepresented in STEM to apply. This includes (but is not limited to) individuals from ethnic / racial minority groups, women, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Eligibility

Palantir Path is open to students who will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in 2022. Students must be either currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program or on track to transfer to one.

Applicants must be majoring in Computer Science or a related technical field

Applicants must be available for a 10- to 12-week internship (May-August or June-September 2021) in either New York, Palo Alto, Seattle, or Washington DC.

The office location will be determined by company priorities and the applicant's skillset. (Palantir provides all interns with a monthly salary and housing.)

Historically, we’ve accepted applications from both sophomores and juniors. This year, we are limiting eligibility to juniors to prioritize those who may have lost internships elsewhere due to COVID-19 and have less time to gain industry experience before graduating.
