This is an on-site position which supports IT User Services Operations. The IT department is responsible for maintaining technology for the entire University and meet its academic and business needs.

IT User Services Help Desk Representative is the first person users will call to initiate the process of fixing their problem.

This position requires great customer service.

This position is designed to assist the IT Department with support and maintenance of computer systems. You will be required to provide user / customer support for IT related issues.

You will also be responsible for answering the phone and remote troubleshooting, as well as maintaining technical items on daily basis.

Training for services such as helpdesk and software will be provided. Employee will interact with campus users who are experiencing IT related technical difficulties and assist them as needed.

Required Skills

This is an on-site position.

Must have great customer service, computer and phone skills.

Communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a professional manner, under pressure and the ability to multi-task.

Must be able to interact with and convey a positive attitude to visitors and the campus community.

Work an established work schedule; reliably work set hours as assigned.

Required Experience

Some experience using Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and Excel. Some Clerical experience.

Must be a currently registered student of La Sierra University.
