Job Number: R0144339 Jira Developer, MidThe Challenge:Are you looking for an opportunity to support fast-paced IT operations for a data platform that will help the government modernize their toolsets? As a Jira Developer for the Service Desk platform, you will play a critical role in administering and developing the underlying infrastructure that supports user onboarding for a large-scale data platform.We are looking for someone with a Jira Developer background and skillset to provide te chn ical support, administration, maintenance, and development of Jira sof tware. We're looking for a service-focused team player who thrives on the opportunity to help government users to solve problems and empower change. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely .You Have:

  • Experience with Jira development and testing integrations between Jira and 3rd-party using Jira REST API
  • Experience with Jira product Administration
  • Experience with Jira, service desk administration, customizations, mapping, and automating complex workflows for role-based access control
  • Experience in working with Python, Groovy, HTML, Java, .NET, or Shell Scripting
  • Experience with writing custom c ond itions, validations, and post functions using ScriptRunner for Jira and Automation for Jira
  • Experience with managing Jira product updates and patching, working with Atlassian support, and supporting organizations of the product plug-ins
  • Experience with monitoring all Jira system operations, including security procedures and liaising with infrastructure, security, DevOps, data, and application teams
  • Experience with adhering to stringent security, change, and configuration management procedures and policies
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with using GitLab in a development environment
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL Database Concepts, AWS cloud services, and configurations
  • Knowledge of ITIL, including process improvement
  • Knowledge of Jira Query Language ( JQL ) , including dynamic dashboards and reporting
  • Ability to exhibit a customer-centric perspective, aligned with leading commer cia l-level service desk support
  • Ability to provide remote after-hours support in an on-call capacity
  • Ability to be analytical and understand abstract functionalities from specifications
  • Ability to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Secret clearance
  • IAT-II Certification, including Security+ Certification
