job summary:The Senior Manager of Software Engineering is responsible for leading the software development team, designing solutions, directing, and designing software solutions, and oversight of the software lifecycle. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Client's brand and strategy and adhere to their core values and service attributes. This position has direct reportsExpertise in API and Microservices/SOA development- Excellent knowledge of database technology, preferable Oracle or SQL- Understanding of waterfall and agile software development methodology and industry best practices- Effective verbal and written communication skills- A decisive individual who possesses a detail oriented perspective- Ability to lead and work with peers in a team effort- Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, operational focus- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines- A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able efficiently complete projects in a fast-paced environment location: OVERLAND PARK, Kansasjob type: Permanentsalary: $150,000 - 160,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:The Senior Manager of Software Engineering is responsible for leading the software development team, designing solutions, directing, and designing software solutions, and oversight of the software lifecycle.
