Job SummaryThe SAP Process Analyst will own the maintenance & delivery of planning/consolidation solutions for Benjamin Moore's FP&A and Finance departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the SAP BPC subject matter expert
  • Hands-on experience on SAC as a planning tool, designing/implementing data models
  • Good Understanding of SAP data structures, End to End dataflow, SAC predictive capabilities, augmented analytics, forecasting, etc.
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of functional and technical components of planning, budgeting and forecasting solutions using SAC Planning.
  • Provide functional and business process expertise to FP&A and Financial Consolidation as a key member of COE
  • Provide support to the functional / technical team in the development of reports, conversions, interfaces and extensions for BPC applications
  • Plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage & coordinate with the integration partners for projects and enhancements
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams on business needs, information, applications, and long-term plans while helping to ensure integration with strategic plans
  • Troubleshoot Production issues related to Planning and Consolidation alike
  • Develop and maintain BPC input templates, reports, & data packages including transformation and conversion files
  • Manage relationship and production support assistance with 3rd Party Vendor
  • Responsible for timely resolution of ServiceNow incidents and change requests
  • Ensure compliance with Change Management protocols for software development
  • Advise the Management on BPC solution roadmap
  • Facilitate requirement sessions with the Business partners
  • Test and validate EPM and MS Office related upgrades
  • Develop and debug VBA codes, Logic Scripts, and Business Rules
  • Collaborate with Service desk in rolling out EPM Add-in upgrades
  • Advise the SAP Security team with designing and maintaining of BPC roles
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data flowing from BW to BPC
  • Assist with Data file load and data reload (from BW) requests from the business community
  • Maintain dimension properties and members as necessary
  • Collaborate with the Basis team in ensuring optimal BPC performance
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery rehearsals as a representative of BPC track
  • Maintain functions/technical specs and testing scripts in SAP Solman and HP-ALM
Required Knowledge and Preferred Skills:
  • A minimum of 3 full life cycle implementation experience in SAP Planning and Consolidation modules (EPM, BPC etc.)
  • Should have strong insights to General Ledger, Cost Center accounting, controlling and profitability process areas
  • Exposure to compliance and statutory reporting requirements, IFRS and GAAP accounting rules is a must
  • Hands on configuration experience with SAP BPC
  • Expert knowledge in MS Excel/VBA
  • Excellent knowledge of leading practices within consolidation processes. Hands on experience around account reconciliations between legal entities reconciliations issues.
  • Proven experience applying and maintaining internal controls, SOX requirements and GAAP for month end close.
  • Expert knowledge of ECC Data Structures and interfaces to SAP BW and BPC.
  • Strong BPC Report writing skills.
  • Extensive BPC Netweaver experience.
  • Focus on relationship building, ability to work with other leaders and peers across the organization. Should be comfortable working in a rapidly transforming organization
  • Strong ability to train and teach others.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items.
  • BA/BS college degree in accounting, business, computer science, computer engineering or a related field of study from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
