job summary: location: Houston, New Yorkjob type: Permanentsalary: $139,000 - 140,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Your ability to work collaboratively will be used as you work closely with business users and technology peers to translate requirements into optimal technical designs. You'll be also developing capabilities such as our public-cloud based datalake, data pipelines for fundamental and alternative market data, and a of range data analytics solutions. Additionally, providing support to traders and other business users on the applications the team develops and enhances. Your drive for continuous improvement will be utilized as you extend and enhance testing and deployment mechanisms for various applications/tools, as well as designing solutions that are tactical and strategic in nature to effectively address short-term vs long-term business needs. About You:

• You have at least 5 years of experience developing applications as a full-stack developer
• You have 4+ years of Java Experience (Java 8 or later preferred)
• You don't care what tools/libraries/technologies you'll be using (they change too fast to get attached).
• You have experience with Relation Databases
• You have experience/knowledge in trading or risk systems

• Experience level: Experienced
