Primary Purpose: The IT Strategy & Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights on various strategic and operational aspects of RBS IT. This role will create data models, dashboards, and scheduled reporting to monitor trends across various IT and Business related metrics across multiple dimensions. In addition, the analyst will ensure technical tool optimization and adherence to various reporting standards for various IT performance reporting. Collaborates with Portfolio governance, PMO teams, Service Management, HR (Talent Management), Finance, and leadership to ensure transparency and accuracy of IT performance metrics. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support various data analysis and content creation required for the development of annual IT Strategy.
  • Support various benchmarking, development of business cases and financial modeling required to support the IT strategic planning activities.
  • Support development and tracking of new metrics and OKRs to measure progress / success on strategic objectives.
  • Support development and maintenance of benefits realization framework.
  • Work across IT Product, Platform & services teams to define requirements for IT performance metrics.
  • Develops and maintains technical reporting tools and deliverables to include data management/feeds, ad-hoc break fix requests, dashboard updates.
  • Design, build and publish various reports to support various executive meetings and business review meetings.
  • Create a data model to support ongoing reporting requirements for IT.
  • Partner with various IT Leaders across the organization to understand their analytics needs and create dashboards and reporting that allow them to manage more effectively.
  • Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources. Looks for opportunities to automate insights through alerting and data anomaly detection.
  • Provides project performance metrics and transparency against key metrics.
  • Provide guidance on reporting processes and tools to broader IT Stakeholder groups.
  • Administer reporting dashboard and repository creation, permissions, library governance.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Statistics, Business, Computer Science or Technical field; equivalent trainings/certifications/experience equivalency will be considered
  • 5 or more years of equivalent experience in relevant job or field of technology performance management and reporting in a strategic context.
  • Experience in an advanced role or technical capacity, leading teams directly or indirectly
  • Experience in guiding, training or onboarding team members in relevant technologies, capabilities or skills
  • Post graduate degree advanced training and or certifications in relevant field/s of study preferred
  • Advanced Knowledge of various IT performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power Query, MS Power BI.
  • Advanced proficiency in SharePoint, MS Power Automate, MS Visual Basic.
  • Advanced proficiency in mathematical modeling, statistics, data visualization
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Strong insights in developing and delivering multi-mode communications (verbal and written) that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years experience in Agile teams and or Product/Platform based operating model.
  • Experience in retail or grocery preferred.
  • Experience in leading teams.
