Mid Architect
job summary:
DESCRIPTION:- You are an architect / analyst / content management specialist with experience designing, configuring, and administering SharePoint sites and libraries. You understand the value and impact of a robust, accessible architecture portal, the purpose and roles of architecture domain teams (business, enterprise, solution, data) and how an organized, and how an organized, curated architecture library can be leveraged for maximum impact.
- 1-3 years of experience in one or more architecture domains (business, solution, application, or enterprise) and/or business analysis.
- 1-2 years of experience in SharePoint site management / administration (all functions associated with "Full Control" permission level.
- Ability to motivate and influence others so that project objectives are met in a timely manner.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop high quality solutions.
- Effective organizational, interpersonal/relationship management, analytical, communications (written and verbal) and collaboration.
- Experience with use and/or administration of architecture modeling tools (i.e., Orbus, Bizzdesign, Mega, etc.).
- Understanding of, and experience with, TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
- One or more certification in architecture, business analysis, and/or project management (i.e., TOGAF, CBA, CBAP, PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma).
- You'll apply your analytical, communications and creative skills to help architects define use cases and requirements for the Architecture SharePoint site, Architecture Repository and Business Process Library. You'll apply your expertise as a SharePoint site owner / administrator to create, configure and refine subsites, pages, libraries, lists, and web apps to meet those requirements. You'll also apply your content management skills to ensure that libraries, lists, etc. are well-organized and up to date and you'll develop content guidelines to ensure consistency in file naming and site/page styles and layouts.
- Enterprise Architecture SharePoint Site Administration - Work with architects to determine needs/requirements, develop wireframes/mockups of site/page designs to meet those requirements, configure and test site/subsites/pages, and support continual improvement. Also support content owners and site users with onboarding, troubleshooting, and new feature requests.
- Architecture Tool & Repository Support - Work with the Architecture Tool & Repository (ATR) team and Orbus consultants to design, configure, maintain, and improve the SharePoint-based portal used by the iServer365 architecture modeling tool.
- Content Management & Curation - Develop processes, procedures, and job aids to ensure that architecture content is well-organized, consistently and effectively name, and kept up-to-date.
- Communication and Reporting - Prepare periodic reports to Architecture leadership on content status (e.g., utilization, completeness, validation, quality, etc.). Identify risks, issues and opportunities related to architecture content/work products and library.
