NET Developer with Systems Integration experience for a

FULL-TIME assignment with one of our premier higher education clients located in Manchester, NH.

This position is open to candidates in

New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, Arizona, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and Florida. This developer will focus on the integration of data between all university systems and will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, troubleshooting and documenting solutions to business needs throughout the entire phase of the development cycle.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include:
  • Design and develop data integration web services using MuleSoft and Ellucian Ethos between Banner and 3rd party APIs like Salesforce and BrightSpace.
  • Uses tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, SSMS to design and develop solutions based on business requirements documents.
  • Leads development efforts on products or product features.
  • Provides accurate estimates on project tasks.
  • Works in an Agile methodology on a highly proficient Scrum team.
  • Participates in all Agile ceremonies: All Team Planning, Daily Scrum, Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
  • Researches and provides technical solutions for complex design challenges.
  • Applies best practices and standards in all solutions.
  • Owns or co-owns products, can identify opportunities for improvements and bug.s
  • Leads peer and code reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience in lieu of degree acceptable
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience with RESTful web services
  • Experience developing SYSTEM INTEGRATIONS using REST with JSON, SOAP with XML, or GRAPHQL
  • Experience writing Object Oriented code using C#
  • Experience building custom solutions using ASP.NET/MVC

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Java
  • In-depth experience with Higher Education software products like Banner, Colleague, BrightSpace.Banner is a HUGE plus
  • Fundamental Experience working with Banner Data model or application
  • Experience with MuleSoft
  • Experience with JavaScript/JQuery
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Azure Cosmos
  • Proficiency writing queries, stored procedures for SQL Server
  • Experience with Source Control systems such as Microsoft TFS, Azure DevOps, GIT
  • Experience in the entire software development lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of Agile Frameworks (Kanban/Scrum/Safe/)
  • Must be detail-oriented and logical
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to keep up with new business and technical concepts
  • Ability to learn new skills through independent research
  • Able to work independently and in team environment
  • Must display a positive attitude
