ETL Quality Analyst

Require 7+ years of overall testing experience, and with at least 6 years as a Quality Engineer in Data warehouse and ETL projects. Experience in working on large scale data integration, data ingestion projects Hands on experience in assessing the business requirements and translating to specific Datastage job design. Provide clear documentation regarding the requirements gathered including the test plan and UAT test cases discussed with the users Ability to navigate through the DB and Datastage jobs/files to identity the root cause for the issue reported by business users/architect team Trace gaps in data back to the original source to address and resolve issues proactively Formulate applicable techniques to handle huge volume data loads to the DB Experience testing Data Warehouse, ETL, and Big Data environments and have defined test approaches for testing data warehouse projects Experience writing complicated SQL statements and PL/SQL code to test data flow and perform data analysis. Experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting and defect diagnosis techniques Knowledge in testing Data Warehouse/Big Data in cloud environment such as Snowflake. Preferably in Azure Platform Knowledge in job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Maestro, Tivoli, Autosys etc.is nice to have Experience & Working knowledge of QA testing software, QA methodologies, tools, and processes preferred. Ability to adapt to new process & procedures in a seamless fast manner
