These are growth positions for next generation softw development support.What You'll Get to Do:

  • Work closely with software engineers to develop unit and integration test scripts in a DevSecOps environment
  • Write scripts to facilitate functional tests, contribute to converting paper-based tests to automated tests
  • Participate in System Requirements Reviews and execute test scenarios using both automated and paper-based tests
  • Participate in Requirement and Design reviews to ensure effective unit and integration tests
  • Contribute to on-going transition to a government cloud with attendant changes in developer and test methodologies
  • Participate in the planning and execution of this transition as related to effective testing during unit, integration and acceptance testing phases.
  • Participate in System Requirements Reviews and Develop and Execute test scenarios
  • Maintain our primary end-user manuals, currently written using the FrameMaker product
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • A Current DOD SECRET Clearance
  • Experience with a script language (JavaScript, Perl and Bash ect)
  • Familiarity with the Java language
  • Familiarity with LINUX/UNIX operating systems and able to execute basic OS commands
  • Experience in areas of manual and/or automated test procedure execution, performance and regression testing
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • A DOD Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or above in IT-related disciplines
  • Experience in Agile/scrum or DevSecOps methodologies with emphasis on testing
  • Any "recognized" certificate in IT-related topics, i.e., CompTIA, MicroSoft, major cloud vendors, Cisco, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience with Selenium and/or TestNG or equivalent automated testing products
  • Familiarity with change management tools (e.g., Clear Case, Gitlab) and requirements traceability tools (e.g., DOORS)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate well with teammates, developers and Government customers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite
