Storage Infrastructure Recovery Engineer

job summary:

• The storage infrastructure recovery engineer is responsible for creating and executing restoral plans for active production devices.
• This will include identifying backup mechanisms required to restore an existing production storage (Block, SAN and File) device to production ready with all required client allocations and presentations.
• The role requires a self-starter to work with engineering, operations and associated vendors to identify all requirements on each storage product certified for use in our enterprise architecture systems of record to a fully restored configuration client ready storage presentation.
• The role assumes a working device was factory reset and the steps required to fully restore with exception of client data are documented, tested, operationalized and available for use across the enterprise.
