In this role you will support NASA's International Space Station Program (ISS) in the Avionics and Development Integration Office (ADIO) as a technical integrator and project manager. The position on-site in Houston, TX. What You'll Be Doing
- Serve alongside the ADIO NASA manager to assist with integration and project management activities across the office
- Support Certification of Flight Readiness (COFR) activities across GNC, Communications and Tracking, Command and Data Handling, Visiting Vehicles (commercial and international)
- Engage in activities across various project areas to develop, integrate, and sustain ISS avionics and radio frequency systems to ensure safe and effective operations of the ISS
- Support visiting vehicle activities allowing for the ISS to continue as a research platform
- Support problem resolution teams and engage at the ISS Program office level in a liaison capacity
- Support multi-center activities, specifically out of NASA MSFC and GSFC
- Support special project initiatives from formulation to implementation
- BS degree from an accredited program
- 8 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
- Five (5) years of related integration or project manager experience
- Experience in managing requirements and system engineering in the aerospace sector
- Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings
- Ability to lead projects through implementation and work across teams as a lead integrator
- Able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision
- Familiarity and Experience with GNC, Communications and Avionics
- Familiarity with NASA and ISS
