Senior Network Engineer- Hybrid Denton, TX
Job Description A leading Oil and Energy company located in Denton, TX is looking to add a skilled Senior Network Engineer to their team on a full-time, direct hire basis. This company is one of America's largest private, independent energy companies. The Senior Network Engineer is a very hands-on technical position responsible for the maintenance, design, implementation, and expansion of server and network infrastructure. All systems require redundancy and resiliency wherever possible. Experience in this kind of environment is important. The ideal candidate will be one who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a growing, successful company. This is a full time, direct hire position with a salary of $110-140K based on experience plus bonus eligibility. The role is hybrid with in-office work out of their Denton office. Required Skills & Experience • 7+ years' experience with network design and configuration • Design, configure, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls • Work closely with end users, business units, and third-party providers • Mentor other network engineer colleagues • Manage multiple projects and effectively communicate updates and results to peers, supervisors, and stakeholders • Make recommendations on hardware/software purchases for the server environment to help fulfill business needs Desired Skills & Experience • Highly skilled with OSPF, BGP, SD WAN • Scripting/Automation experience desired (Ansible, Python) • Cisco networking experience (ACI desired but not required) • Strong firewall background The Offer
