Sr. Software Asset ManagerThe Senior Software Asset Analyst will report to the Information Services (IS) Finance and Asset Senior Manager, under the Vice President of Infrastructure. This full-time position is located in Raleigh, NC at Martin Marietta corporate headquarters. The position will require contact with both vendors and members of the IS department, as well as other internal customers. The ideal candidate is polished and self-directed with significant experience in Software Asset Management. Foundational knowledge of IS financial components and technologies is ideal.As a Senior Software Asset Analyst, a typical day might include: Lead and promote the Software Asset Management function, educating, articulating needs and collaborating cross-departmentally Use Martin Marietta s Software Asset Management tool and other internal resources, ensuring data quality and completeness, creating cross department linkages, and conducting quality checks Conducting formal vendor audits or internal audits by leading data analysis, articulating actions for risk mitigation, and sharing audit results Reviewing software contracts, software agreements, and master contracts for product use rights and to advise Martin Marietta s Legal Department; drafting Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) to reduce risk to the company; and deciphering and meticulously documenting an audit trail Identify process and data improvements and gather evidence for use in business cases while performing detailed work with all required SME areas to develop processes/data, communications, and education/training Provide optimization recommendations to the business including infrastructure changes, contractual or licensing options, and tracking measurement of progress Analyze and advise on risk and opportunity within software agreement structure during negotiations and audits from a software asset view while considering use, deployment, and infrastructure of the environment Develop trusted relationships with vendors, resellers, and business units internal and external to IS, including Infrastructure, Project Management, Development, Legal, Tax, and Finance. Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate including SOX reporting on contract typeThis job might be a good fit for you if you have: A Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience with contracts and/or IS software asset management SAM tool experience e.g. SNOW, Flexera, License Dashboard Strong attention to detail and proven conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills The ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences The ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively, achieving results within established timeframes with minimal supervision The ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments supporting day-to-day operations, user requests, and special projects Working knowledge of ServiceNow Current IAITAM Certification
