Description:
  • This role is for an experienced manager, who is responsible for leading a team to deliver large-scape Enterprise Data transformation conversion execution. Key responsibilities include delivering on technology strategy and ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards.
  • This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices.
  • Executes on the strategic direction to oversee the development teams
  • Single point of contact from Tech for the workstream
  • Provides proactive and strategic consulting, striving to meet current and anticipated business objectives
  • Works with the business Project Manager and the PMO to prioritize efforts based on overarching business need and tech strategy
  • Works with Product Managers and architects to evaluate process readiness and roadmap fit
  • Point of escalation for unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests
  • Experience in managing work for the technical delivery teams spanning multiple locations and passion in coaching them through a period of transformation
Primary Skill: Teradata Secondary Skill: Hadoop

Required Skills
  • 10 years of scaled application development lead experience using following technologies
  • Proficient in ETL technologies like Informatica, Data stage, Teradata, UNIX, Schedulers like Autosys and Tivoli Workload Scheduler
  • Exposure in big data Technologies like Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, Alteryx and Cloud Expertise in complete Software Development Life Cycle phases and Production Support Life cycle phases
  • Previous technology consulting experience preferred
  • Proven track record of execution and delivery
  • Management experience with multi-level organizations
  • Experience in managing stakeholder conflict very well with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and audiences.
  • Effective performance within shared service or matrix environment
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Processes, High Risk Processes
  • Knowledge of Enterprise horizontal and vertical technologies

Desired Skills
  • Problem solver with a bias for action, initiative for consulting
  • Excellence is required in analytical abilities, verbal and written communications (including documentation), interpersonal relationship skills, and teamwork
  • Knowledge of PMI, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (SCRUM and SAFe), and/or Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Processes, High Risk Processes
  • Knowledge of Enterprise horizontal and vertical technologies Must be detailed-oriented, results-driven, highly energetic and motivated with a high degree of independence
