Mid level Systems Administrator with Windows and Linux experience - 100% onsite

JOB SUMMARY:Client is looking for a Systems Administrator 6-month Contract (with option to extend) in SF East Bay (Walnut Creek) to provide technical leadership and hands-on experience within the client s network lab in Walnut Creek at a large health-care organization. Requires Windows, Linux and MacOS experience in large environments, detailed documentation of procedures, and ability to work directly with clients to understand requirements.SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Experience with enterprise operating systems (Linux, Windows Server, VMware) Familiarity with testing, interoperability testing, and troubleshooting in dynamic lab environments Strong experience creating detailed test plans Excellent diagramming and documentation skills Experience with automated lab testing systems such as Ixia, NetScout and Quali/Qualisystems is a plus Experience with Caregility Telehealth systems a plus - Ability to adapt and understand new technologies quickly Ability to work both individually and as part of a team Software development or scripting skills a plus Participate in project and activity tracking processes in coordination with the project team. Communicate operational status and issues to management and the team. On-site in Walnut Creek, CA with some remote days an optionREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: B.S. degree in a computer, physical sciences or engineering related discipline. Equivalent proven industry experience will be considered. A minimum of three to five years of experience in the job functions listed above
