Please review the job details below.Maxar is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to join our Sensor Programs team in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This is an opportunity to work on an integrated team to develop innovative algorithms and mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities. This position involves the development and implementation of new signal processing and imaging algorithms for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). Candidates with a strong signal processing background and experience with algorithm development are encouraged to apply.What will you be doing?

• Support a multi-disciplinary team in the development of algorithms and signal processing methodologies for SAR
• Develop algorithms for SAR image formation processing and synthetic data generation
• Analyze effects of SAR waveforms, CONOPS, and system configurations
• Work with and learn from community experts to realize new radar and image processing systems
• Tasks may include development of signal processing algorithms for radar analysis, and generation of test data for SAR and related radar modes
• Opportunities in other technical areas include detection algorithms, autofocus, ISAR, bistatics, deep learning and Automatic Target Recognition (ATR), electronic warfare (EW) and adaptive array processing
• Individuals with interest in any of these or related areas are encouraged to apply

• US citizenship with the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or related technology fields
• Strong programming skills (C, C, MATLAB, Python, or similar)

• Current/active TS/SCI
• 3 years of experience
• SAR image formation processing experience
