This position is located in the El Segundo / Redondo Beach CA facilities and is part of Northrop Grumman's Business Systems Products Portfolio Manufacturing and Logistics group, a team focused on developing and supporting software applications needed for our manufacturing programs.The position researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. Primarily will support SAP but may also support other applications related to manufacturing.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with team members and a variety of functional roles to deliver high quality software products
  • Design, develop, document, test, and implement software enhancements and fixes using SAP ABAP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Python, Java, C#, SQL, and/or Windows/Linux Scripts.
  • Provide end user support of applications
  • Perform software installation, setup, maintenance, and patching / updates on Windows/Linux servers
  • Troubleshoot issues and determine resolutions
  • Support the users with defining requirements as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2+ years of IT experience OR Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Understanding of structured and object-oriented development concepts
  • Ability to learn and become efficient in new development languages
  • Experience developing software with ABAP, Java, C#, or Python
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Secret or Top-Secret U.S. Government security clearance
  • Familiarity with web accessibility concepts, UX/UI and Agile practices
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux
  • Experience using SAP
  • Experience with SAP ABAP or Fiori Development
  • Experience in Manufacturing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work equally well in self-managed and team-based environment
This position reports to El Segundo, CA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Redondo Beach, CA, CA, USA.

Salary Range: $82,400 USD - $123,600 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
