Senior Frontend Engineer
A leading medical device company specializing in delivering wireless glucometer technology is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to make an impact on their latest Diabetes Division product. This engineer will be responsible for designing and building scalable user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using React, although other framework familiarity may be considered. You will be working closely with the product management, engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver robust features, resolve any arising issues, and perform testing related to high consumer-facing traffic services across the application. Required Skills & Experience- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with deep expertise in frontend development; broad experience in building modern JavaScript-based web and mobile products
- Extensive expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, LESS, and SCSS
- Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries (React, Angular, Vue, etc)
- Strong expertise in RESTful APIs and how to use them in practice
- Expertise in writing effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests
- Mobile development experience with either native or web-to-native tooling and frameworks
- Experience in agile development
- Strong people skills, specifically in collaboration, teamwork, coaching, and mentoring
- University degree in Computer Science or similar technical disciplines
