This position will be located in Magna, UT where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's process engineering organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.This candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as C, C#, VB, SQL and others that address Environmental, Safety, and production requirements.
  • Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems.
  • May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users.
  • Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • May build add-on modules using application program language.
  • Gathers user feedback to modify and improve system capabilities as needed.
Essential Functions
  • Collaborate, plan, and execute team projects; programming, scripting, debugging, and test code
  • Design client-side and server-side code
  • Develop Software System Architectures
  • Write Technical Documentation
  • Work and deliver software using an Agile development processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g., Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Understanding of OOP (Object Oriented Programming)
  • Experience programming client and web-based applications
  • Experience with programming languages such as VB, C#, and C.
  • Experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Bachelors Degree with 2 years experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requiring 6 years experience
    • Position may be filled at higher level requiring Bachelors Degree with 5 years experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requiring 9 years experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with .NET frameworks
  • Experience with web technologies including HTML, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Experience with Source Control Management tools based on Git
  • Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding how to perform all functions in the software development life cycle (specification, analysis, design, coding, testing, maintenance, support, and documentation)

Salary Range: $66,600 USD - $99,800 USD

Salary Range 2: $82,000 USD - $123,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
