As a ServiceNow Application Developer, you will wok with Product Owners to understand requirements, b uild high-quality scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture, and help improve application development, deployment, and customization.,What You Will Do:
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
- Work with a strong set of teams to improve developing and deploying applications and customizations
- Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
- Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, product managers and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.
- Deploy applications via automation with configuration management tools.
- Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the team.
- Code review and guide Junior Developers on their work and career journey
- Exceptional JavaScript skills as well as experience working with libraries such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, React and Node.js.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience working within the ServiceNow Platform.
- Comfortable in working in a high paced work environment and can adapt to rapidly changing business drivers.
- Very strong technical skills and experience
- Software architecture & design experience.
- Experienced Full Stack developer with a firm understanding of:
- Data structures
- Algorithms
- Object-oriented design
- Design patterns
- Deep understanding and experience with Agile software development lifecycle.
- ITIL experience or certification.
- ServiceNow System Admin certification, ServiceNow Application Developer and/or Product line certifications a plus.

- The hiring range is $73,700 - $92,100 annually.
- For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
- Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
