Workday HCM Functional Specialist

Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding.The primary responsibility of the Workday Business Applications Specialist will be to work with the People & Operations project team, functional subject matter experts, trainers, end users, and the Digital teams to provide direct support for Workday and other systems/applications used by CHG. This position will consult and collaborate with HCM functional business teams to assist in their understanding and identification of opportunities to use technology and best practices to improve their business processes. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for requirements gathering from end users and partnering with HCM Functional and Digital teams to accurately capture business needs.
- Perform business analysis on and recommends solutions for business processes and application for operational inefficiencies.
- Responsible for troubleshooting any application bugs or issues.
- Help coordinate testing for all upgrades and enhancements.
- Help coordinate post go-live support for system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Provide support of assigned applications as an individual contributor, if applicable.
- Suggest, develop, maintain, produce and distribute various reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) as requested or as need identified.
- Reporting is accompanied by useful insight to aid in decision and operational support.
- Responsible to ensure HCM report/data accuracy and checks for reasonableness.
- Use various techniques to interpret data and make it relevant to business considerations.
- Provide input for training material that will be used to train end users on product features and/or process changes. May be required to assist in end user training.
- Coordinate the adoption of new business processes in Workday resulting from system improvements.
- Help drive key meetings including applicable project meetings, workflow planning, operational improvements, requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
