In this position, you will conduct a wide variety of activities to include scripted automations, access privileges, cloning, upgrades, maintenance activities and troubleshooting a wide variety of issues and implementing corrective actions quickly. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining system efficiency, platform stabilization and ensuring security through group/roles designation.Your Northrop Grumman journey will have you working across organizations within Corporate and our customer-facing sectors to identify solutions to help realize the ServiceNow benefits to our organization. As part of this team, you will need to be a self-starter functioning in a fast-paced, agile environment and able to adapt as innovations occur.This is a remote/virtual position.Responsibilities the successful candidate will be accountable for include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily administration, troubleshooting, and resolution of any issues arising in the ServiceNow environment
  • Customize, configure, and support solutions on the ServiceNow platform as it relates to ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SLM, Service Portal, Workflows, Scoped Apps, and other related functionality
  • Assist in the review, design, and improvement of ServiceNow processes and procedures while adhering to ServiceNow best practices and encouraging use of out-of-the-box functionality
  • Work with IT and business leads to understand business needs and develop solutions that streamline process and drive scripted automation, while continuing to provide persistent system reliability, security, and platform health
  • Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow system, including managing users; maintain user and group roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc.
  • Proficiency with workflow automation, User Interface (UI) policies, data polices, actions, business rules and client scripts
  • Define technical and design approaches and advise technical/functional resources at a team-level on development and configuration best practices and activities
  • Utilize agile methodology including participating in PI planning, sprint planning and review meetings
  • Provide code peer reviews
  • Participate in internal knowledge sharing, coaching, and collaboration activities and initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (4 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree) with 9+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of ServiceNow administrator experience working with various modules within ServiceNow and scripting automations as a Platform as a Service (PaaS) Implementer
  • Experience with supervising and inspecting code migrations between instances, as well as providing feedback to technical resources on approaches to remediate assigned defects
  • Experience with coordinating ServiceNow upgrades across multiple ServiceNow modules
  • Ability to create/modify and maintain complex glide scripts used primarily for system automation.
  • Ability to create/modify ACLs, business rules, before/after rule scripts etc.
  • Ability to create/modify tables, forms, lists, workspace views, flows, and actions
  • Experience with and ability to create/modify clone profiles and cleanup scripts
  • Large scale group/user/role management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance, if necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A passion for advising and guiding business customers and other IT leaders on how to get the most out of ServiceNow and for learning the latest product features.
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and/or ServiceNow System Administrator training
  • Experience with and ability to create/modify platform oriented Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts
  • Experience with DevOps using ServiceNow in an end-to-end product release pipeline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple assignments and manage changing priorities
  • Great attention to detail and strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skills
  • Strong collaboration and team dynamics
  • Ability to travel, on occasion, to support different locations

Salary Range: $117,900 USD - $176,900 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
