Solidus is searching for an Electrical Systems Engineer.Successful candidate will work with the technical team to establish robust and executable program plans including the identification of tasks, trade studies, modelling and analyses, and risk and opportunity identification and management.Requirements - ship and the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; Active Secret preferred - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field - Minimum 8 years' relevant experienceRequired Experience - Systems engineering of complex systems throughout the product lifecycle - FPGAs and/or embedded processors - Analog electrical considerations - Electrical considerations for thermal vacuum space environments - LVDT, RVDTs, and strain gauges - Aerospace protocols (MIL-STD-1553, RS-422, Ethernet, and SpaceWire) - IBM Rational DOORS or other requirements management systems - Program planning - Strong written and verbal communication skillsAdditionally Desired - Master's Degree - Architecture, design, and verification for space-based electronics - Knowledge of optical systems for visible through long wave infrared applications - Control theory with open and closed-loop feedback - VHDL, C, C, Python, MatLab - Parts, materials, and processes for space environments - Knowledge of EO/IR systems including modeling and analysis - CONOPS development - Technical leadership of cross-functional/discipline teamsResponsibilities - Develop Innovative solutions through collaboration with world class experts - Customer requirement documentation - Develop specifications, requirements verification matrices, verification plans - Evaluate results providing feedback and direction - Communication and collaborate with all active participants to efficiently execute program and identify issues and risksReq 4463Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
