This position will be located in Orlando, FL and will support our Ground Satellite Communications Systems (GSCS) Operating Unit (OU).Roles and ResponsibilitiesPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Contingent Pending Award Basic Qualifications: Level 1
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Basic knowledge of cyber security best practices
- Basic knowledge in administrating Microsoft Windows and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ within 6 months of hiring
- Ability to pass an Office of Personnel Management (OPM) background check for High-Risk Services contract
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelors Degree with 2 years' experience or 6 years' experience in lieu of degree
- Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security best practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of administrating Microsoft Windows and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ within 6 months of hiring

- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Security Certification (CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CISSP or similar cyber security related certification)
- Industry Certification (Microsoft MCP, CCNA, RHEL Admin or similar)
- BA/BS degree
- B.S in Cyber Security or related computer degree program
- Demonstrated experience in administration of Microsoft Windows Active Directory and windows systems
- Demonstrated experience in administration of RHEL 8+ systems
- Demonstrated experience in networking systems
- Experience with STIG assessment, SCAP Tools, NESSUS, SPLUNK, or similar cyber security tools
