SAP FM Functional Analyst
job summary:Randstad Federal is seeking an SAP FM Functional Analyst in support of a federal program with Department of Navy. location: BETHESDA, Marylandjob type: Contractsalary: $80 - 100 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Overview: This position is expected to provide expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design. This position requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM to automate the management and external reporting of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable , and cash management; manage posting periods and period end closing; and enable open and integrated data flow between financial account and the other components of the SAP system. Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP FM module (in a Tier 3 environment) is preferred. Required Skills:
- This position requires in-depth knowledge of one or more functional area as well as relevant SAP module(s), specifically in the area of Funds Management (FM).
- Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a program or project manager leading and supervising a multidisciplinary staff of various levels.
- Demonstrated analytic ability to evaluate programmatic data, resolve inconsistencies and propose solutions to project issues.
- Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
- These resources require privileged access and require a PAA form and an SSBI (must be clearable).
- Provide FM expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition;
- Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary;
- Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures, functional design specifications, process flows, and test cases;
- Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions;
- Define user authorization requirements;
- Provide help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving FM defects ('break/fix'), analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP FM solution and system;
- Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed.
