Accounts Payable Clerk

DescriptionAccountemps is looking for an analytical and organized Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is ready to become an essential part in a team-oriented and rapidly-expanding company. This position is long-term temporary. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. An individual in this position will need a high aptitude for computer software, be mindful of details and a self motivator. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Rancho Cordova, California area and will be a long-term temporary position.What you get to do every single day

Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

Implement full-cycle A/P

Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

Provide support to internal business partners

Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

Requirements

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

Be detailed, flexible, and organized
