Creative Early childhood Educator needed (Woodlawn)

We have greatly downsized our community to a small group of children at one location. We are providing inspiring & dynamic early childhood experiences for children ages 6 weeks - 5 yrs and are looking for an experienced teacher that loves to work with children. Our main influences are, RIE, Montessori & Reggio. Our Community is a family, working together through difficult times, supporting each other & inspiring each other every day. We are interested in adding one more teacher to our small school.

Requirements include: Current Pediatric 1st aid & CPR training, Current Food Handlers card, Registered in the Criminal Background Registry, completion of Intro to Childcare Health and Safety, Child abuse and Neglect, Infant Safe Sleep & Prevention is better that treatment.

I am in search of a highly self motivated individual that demonstrates knowledge of age appropriate early childhood development.

Someone who knows when to engage and when to observe and let the children learn by doing.

Someone with the ability to implement creative curriculum that inspires and reaches all of the children and their different learning styles.

Someone who embraces community, who is warm, nurturing and accepting.

Someone who communicates well and works well with other staff and families.

Someone who is punctual, accountable and prepared on a consistent basis.

Someone with an overall positive attitude and ability to take positive criticism and direction.

Someone with the ability to promote self esteem positively through independence varying on the age of the child.
