Kelly OCG is looking for a Systems Administrator/Engineer L1 to join their team for a top semiconductor company in Folsom, California. A strong focus on troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving is a must.Responsibilities:

Support a wide variety of applications both internal and 3rd party.

Support development to production life cycle environments including development, QA, staging and production.

Collaborate with software, infrastructure and other technical teams to ensure proper integration of the environment.

Maintain detailed wiki pages for users and admins. Document procedures for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Be reliable and responsive in a help desk environment.

Assist and advise users that span multiple departments, time zones, and technical levels.

Requirements:

Java/Groovy, Python, Git and Linux/Windows are required skills.

Experience with ticketing systems, wikis and repositories. Preferably the Atlassian suite of Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket.

Be able to work with both Windows and Linux servers remotely, including installing applications and pulling system logs.

Knowledge of basic Microsoft SQL db activities - db backup and restore, SQL logins and access, querying multiple tables and joins.

Experience with basic Windows server administration - including file shares, permissions/access, networking (similar Linux experience is a plus).

Execute logical troubleshooting methods.

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

1+ years application administration experience.
