Position Overview:The Endoscopy Registered

Nurse Lead is directly responsible for patient care delivered during endoscopy

procedures and indirectly responsible through coordination and information

sharing of both pre and post procedure care.

The RN Lead serves as a role model and mentor in the development of

clinical skills, communication skills, problem-solving, critical thinking,

assessment and team work. The RN Lead

observes, evaluates, monitors and provides feedback on the delivery of care and

services and recommends changes in systems and processes to remove barriers in

providing efficient, cost effective care.Qualifications:Education / Licensure:

CA RN license required.

BLS-Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 180 days of hire.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 180 days of hire.

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in an ambulatory surgery setting or acute hospital recovery room with demonstrated managerial competence required.
