We are looking for a Home Health Administrative Assistant for the hospital’s Home Health Services agency.

Under the direction of the Home Health Director, the Home Health Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Director and serves as office support for the clerical team to assure ongoing operations. The Administrative Assistant is directly responsible for the day to day administrative needs of the Director, assisting with documents, policies, meetings, and events. In addition, this position oversees the inventory of clinical and office supplies for the agency. This position can at times be fast paced, with changing priorities, and require creative problem solving. Effective working relationships with clerical and clinical staff, patients, physicians and other hospital departments is essential.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of three years of experience performing clerical or secretarial functions including computer systems, particularly MicroSoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong computer skills, document creation and file management

Previous home health or hospital experience preferred

Training in medical terminology a plus

Possession of a reliable car, safe effective driving skills and current auto insurance

Must meet the required elements of the essential job functions.

Wages are based on prior experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
