San Luis Post Acute Center is a locally owned and operated skilled nursing facility in San Luis Obispo that is looking for a group of motivated individuals who are ready to learn and work hard. No experience in the healthcare field is necessary.
In short: the class to be come a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a paid class that lasts approximately three months. During that time, you are a paid employee of Compass Health, Inc. and will receive training both out of a book and physical hands-on learning on the floor working with our residents. While we wait for the right group of individuals for the class to start, you will work in a basic capacity in the facility to get a feel for the building and what we do here.
At the start of the class you are paid the wage listed here in this post. From there you move upward on our wage scale as you complete the class, take your exam and become a CNA with the State of California.
Expectations:
-One Year Commitment
-Weekend, Holiday and Night shifts may be required
-Perfect Attendance during the class
-Willingness to be tested for COVID-19 weekly and to take extreme caution to not contract the virus while outside of work
While a large commitment, this class can be the start of something great in your career as you seek to enter into the field of healthcare.
