Full-Time Optometric Technician (Arroyo Grande)

Full-time optometric tech needed for private optometry practice in Arroyo Grande. Must be bilingual. This work is somewhat technical and very social. Main duties will be operating diagnostic equipment (auto-refractor, automated perimeter, Optomap, OCT, non-contact tonometer, pachymeter, and fundus camera), entering insurance, demographic and medical data in to practice management software, taking health history from patients, printing reports and referrals, and cleaning/disinfecting between patients. Additional duties when covering for other staff include answering phones, making appointments, confirming appointments, re-calling patients, taking payments, and lots of disinfecting.
