Inventory Planner (Simi Valley)

Simi Valley manufacturing company is looking for a Inventory Planner to join the team. Excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a fast growing company that offers paid time off and 401K matching.

$20.00/hour

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Essential Duties:

Will monitor inventory control, bill of material and investigate shortages with material.

Will track material through the whole production cycle and will order parts as needed for kits.

Provide recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency in both our internal and external manufacturing networks.

Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure a successful launch cycle is achieved to support new product introductions.

Ensure that appropriate inventory requirements are met and are aligned with the target days of supply.

Anticipate and detect supply issues and lead the prompt resolution to minimize or negate market impact.

Work closely with customer service and distribution fulfillment team to provide timely supply updates.

Work directly with marketing, warehouse, inventory control and production for product life cycle management.

Requirements:

HS Diploma/GED

1 year of expediting, planning or inventory control experience

Proficient in Excel. Great communication skills

Able to communicate effectively with departments and management

Strong organization skills

Good work ethic
