As the Creative Studio Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the project workflow of all internal United Way Worldwide print, digital, and event-based projects. You will serve as the main point of contact for all internal clients intercepting, initiating, organizaing and overseeing the execution of all Creative Studio project requests . You will support clients in the identification of project goals, provide strategic recommendations relative to deliverables, create timelines, proof all deliverables, and maintain proactive and consistent client communication throughout the duration of each project. You will work to keep the Senior Director of Brand and Media informed as to all projects and to ensure that all deliverables are on-brand and compliant with UWW’s Brand Standards and Guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level:

  • Work with clients to identify project goals and needs, providing thoughtful recommendations that position the Creative Studio as a strategic partner within the organization.

  • Organize/manage project workflow with appropriate staff, creating job jackets, establishing timelines, communicating goals and deliverables, and hosting project meetings/briefings.
  • Thoroughly proof all project deliverables prior to client hand-off ensuring on-brand and compliant with Brand Standards and Guidelines.
  • Interface with in-house print shop to obtain price quotes, review proofs, and ensure on-time delivery of all printed materials.
  • Ensure proactive and consistent client communication throughout the entire project process.
  • Deliver high-quality client service from project inception through execution.
  • Manage Salesforce project requests ensuring that new cases are added to the project queue and completed jobs are closed promptly for accurate reporting.
  • Manage team project activity calendar and run weekly team meeting to ensure all members are clear on weekly goals, objectives, and action items.
  • Assist in uploading, testing, and organizing assets that are made available to the Network on UWW’s Studio to Go digital asset management platform.
  • Become a brand ambassador and expert on UWW’s Brand Standards and Guidelines – ensuring proper application on all project deliverables.
  • Manage and oversee freelancers (when and if needed) to augment capabilities of Creative Studio.
  • Optimize, institutionalize and drive continuous improvement of an effective project management system.
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum requirements include:

  • A bachelor’s degree with at least three years of advanced-level experience in a similar role. Or commensurate experience.

  • One to three years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Superb project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced,creative environment.
  • Proven track record of consistently leading projects that are delivered on time, within budget and with a high level of quality.
  • Must be extremely organized with an incredible attention to detail and a strong ability to delegate and provide a exceptionally high level of customer service.
  • Must be proactive and professional with an ability to interact with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a minimal amount of supervision, and to excel in an entrepreneurial, self-starting and fast paced environment.
  • Exellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and SmartSheet.
  • Previous agency experience required.
  • PMP® credential strongly desired, but not required.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience strongly desired, but not required.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience strongly desired, but not required.
  • Passion for the mission and values of United Way, with a strong interest in marketing social impact products focused on health, education and financial stability.
