Contract Driver- Highroof Sprinter Van or 16 Foot Box Required (Comstock Park, MI)

Associated Couriers is a family-owned operation with over 40 years of experience in the logistics industry. The company is currently looking for a dependable Delivery Driver in Comstock, Michigan (49321)on a contractor basis to deliver parcels. These deliveries will consist of delivering parcels to post offices, not door to door. This position will require availability in the time frame of Monday to Saturday with routes from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Contractors will also need a high roof Sprinter van or 16 foot box truck that is required for this position. Contractors can also have subcontractors run under their route.

Qualified applicants must have the following:

Must be 21 or older

Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years

Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check

Must carry 100k/300k bodily injury and property damage primary auto insurance

Must have a smartphone (iPhone or Android platform) and be proficientin navigating through different mobile applications

Must be available to work Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Must have a high roof Sprinter van or 16 foot box truck that will be used in this position

Couriermust carry Occupational Accident Insurance (which can be provided by us if necessary at cost of $17.50 per week)

Must be able to work out of Comstock Park, Michigan (49321)

Must have an Employee Identification Number (EIN) or the ability to obtain one immediately

Responsibilities:

Assist with loading freight

Sort and scan freight dedicated to route

Load and deliver parcels to post offices (not door to door)

Salary: $200 per day
