Material Handler - 2nd shift

Description: This position is part of the Logistics Support Team for the F-35 Flight Test Program at Edwards AFB California and will be responsible for issuing tools, hazmat kits along with receiving and controlling assets.1.Working level knowledge of common supply warehouse procedures.2.Thorough understanding of the Air Force Hazardous Material Management required.3.Must be knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD, Supply and HAZMAT programs.4.Understanding level of Material Safety Data Sheets. Possess an ability to work in a diverse/integrated multi shift work environment.5.Working level of understanding in the use of barcode readers.6.Must possess the ability to assemble and arrange tool kits.7.Possess the ability to perform periodic inspections and minor maintenance of support equipment and tools.8.Must possess a valid drivers’ license.9.Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.Basic Qualifications:Previous warehouse experience.Desired Skills:1.Working level knowledge of supply warehouse procedures.2.Must be knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD, Supply and HAZMAT programs.3.Understanding level of Material Safety Data Sheets.
